MEP Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive MEP Coordinator to join our construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure project efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all MEP activities across multiple projects to ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications. - Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and problem-solving. - Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications to guide installation and execution processes. - Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and quality standards related to MEP works. - Monitor progress and quality of MEP installations and identify any issues or delays. - Assist in procurement and inventory management of MEP materials and equipment. - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained. - Prepare and submit detailed reports on MEP project status and challenges to senior management. - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MEP Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry. - Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and implementation. - Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. - Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with local UAE construction codes and regulations is a plus. - Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office suite.
