Chief Data Officer Manchester | Hybrid The OpportunityAn opportunity to join a market leading asset management organisation as the Chief Data Officer.The core focus of this role will be owning and driving the enterprise Data and AI strategy, architecture and modernisation of the current data platform.You will be key to ensuring data becomes a genuine driver of commercial value, innovation and better decision-making.More on the roleDefine and lead the enterprise wide data and AI strategy, acting as the key figurehead for adoption and innovation across the business.Drive the modernisation of data architecture, cloud platforms and engineering capabilities to support scalability, efficiency and future growth.Lead data governance, quality and regulatory compliance, ensuring data is trusted, secure and managed effectively across the organisation.Partner with the board and executive leadership to align data initiatives with commercial objectives and long-term business strategy.Identify opportunities to leverage AI, advanced analytics and automation to improve decision-making, operational performance and business outcomes.Own the data transformation roadmap, ensuring investment in technology, people and capabilities delivers measurable commercial value.Build and lead high-performing data teams, embedding a data-driven culture and strengthening data capabilities across the business.About youProven experience in senior data leadership (ideally at CDO or Data Director level).Experience within asset management, investment management or wider financial services (desirable not essential).Strong expertise in enterprise data strategy, governance and large-scale transformation.Understanding of modern cloud data ecosystems, ideally Microsoft Azure, Fabric or Databricks.A track record of leveraging data and AI to deliver tangible business value.The ability to influence at board level, shape strategic direction and lead organisation-wide change.Apply now for more details and a confidential discussion.
