With a strong foundation in translational science and a commitment to clinical excellence, this organisation is advancing multiple programs with genuine potential to transform patient outcomes.Following recent on‑site meetings with their leadership team in London, APX Life Sciences has been engaged to identify an exceptional Clinical Project Manager to support the continued expansion of their Clinical & Medical organisation.The OpportunityThis is a pivotal role within a high‑growth biotech where you will work across Clinical Operations, Medical, Regulatory, and cross‑functional program teams to drive integrated planning, operational excellence, and strategic alignment. Reporting into the Senior Director, Clinical Strategy & Operational Excellence, you will enhance the effectiveness of the CMO’s office and ensure programs are delivered with clarity, consistency, and precision.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain an integrated program plan across the Clinical/Medical function, partnering closely with senior leaders including the CMO and VP‑level stakeholdersCoordinate cross‑functional workstreams to ensure alignment on timelines, activities, and deliverablesManage program‑level risk and issue logs, driving mitigation strategies and contingency planningSupport preparation of management reports and program updates for Executive Leadership and the BoardLead development of program budgets and forecasts in collaboration with FinanceCreate and present clear, data‑driven reports for senior stakeholdersOwn and refine standards, templates, and tools that enable consistent program executionFacilitate key stakeholder meetings and ensure planning is fully compliant with internal quality systemsExperience & QualificationsBSc or higher in Life Sciences (or equivalent experience)Strong background in Project or Program Management within Clinical Operations (biotech, pharma, or CRO)Experience coordinating cross‑functional clinical programsSkilled in risk management, stakeholder influence, and structured communicationHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical capabilityProficiency with MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365Prince2 or similar PM methodology (optional but beneficial)Line management experience advantageous but not requiredWhy This Role Stands OutJoin a mission‑driven biotech advancing next‑generation gene therapiesWork directly with an experienced, collaborative Clinical & Medical leadership teamContribute to programs with real clinical momentum and significant patient impactExclusive opportunity with APX Life Sciences — we know the team, the culture, and the growth trajectoryIf you’re a proactive, detail‑driven project leader who thrives in fast‑moving clinical environments, APX Life Sciences would welcome a confidential conversation.
