Its mission is to simplify recruitment, connect businesses with the right people, and create meaningful employment opportunities through a reliable, scalable hiring ecosystem.Role Description The Co-Founder role at Worklance Connect is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area, focused on building and scaling the company’s India-wide recruitment and workforce solutions business. This role involves defining and executing business strategy, overseeing key client relationships, and driving growth across permanent, bulk, and specialized hiring offerings. The Co-Founder will work closely with internal teams and recruitment partners to strengthen the hiring ecosystem, optimize processes, and ensure consistent delivery quality. Daily responsibilities include identifying new market opportunities, shaping sales and marketing initiatives, monitoring performance metrics, and making data-informed decisions to improve operational efficiency. The role also requires active involvement in team leadership, talent development, financial planning, and collaboration on product and platform enhancements such as the 1Hire blue-collar hiring platform.Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret recruitment data, market trends, and performance metrics for strategic decision-making.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management, client engagement, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.Proven experience in sales, including business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth within HR, staffing, or related services.Marketing and research skills to shape go-to-market strategies, understand industry segments, and position Worklance Connect’s solutions effectively.Demonstrated leadership experience in building or scaling a business, startup, or high-growth team environment.Knowledge of recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition operations across multiple workforce categories is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and collaborate closely with local and remote teams.Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, HR, or a related field preferred; entrepreneurial experience is a strong advantage.
