Commercial Finance Executive

Job PurposeDrive technology-enabled process improvement, business intelligence, ERP data governance, and cross-functional transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on costing, price support, and margin analysis. The primary role is to build a deep understanding of key business cost elements, including material cost, manufacturing cost, overheads, conversion cost, and other cost drivers, and translate these insights into accurate reporting, commercial decision support, and margin-improvement opportunities. The role converts business requirements into practical reporting, automation, and system solutions that strengthen cost visibility, pricing accuracy, profitability analysis, process reliability, and management decision-making.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance Costings, Dashboards and management reporting solutions for operational and financial performance.Perform detailed product costing, cost build-up validation, and analysis of material, manufacturing, overhead, and conversion cost elements to support business decisions.Provide price support to Commercial and Sales teams through cost analysis, pricing simulations, scenario modelling, and profitability impact assessment.Analyze gross margin, contribution margin, customer/product profitability, price variance, cost variance, and margin leakage to highlight risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.Automate recurring data preparation and reporting activities using Power Query, Power Automate, Excel, and approved enterprise tools.Build structured data models and reporting frameworks that support multi-period analysis, budget comparisons, and scalable reporting.Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, dashboards, workflows, and system improvements.Identify process gaps, root causes, control weaknesses, and opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time.Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and IT.Maintain governance over SAP-related master data and operating parameters, including BOMs, routings, resources, production activities, and relevant costing inputs.Coordinate periodic SAP updates, testing, validation, issue resolution, and user follow-up with business owners and technical support teams.Monitor data quality, reconcile source information, and ensure consistent definitions across operational and management reports.Prepare user guidance, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and support adoption of new dashboards, reports, and digital processes.Manage assigned improvement projects, including action tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk escalation, and benefit monitoring.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 3-4 years of experience in technical, ERP, business intelligence, process excellence, analytics, or digital transformation role.Hands-on experience with AI Modeling, Power BI, advanced Excel, Power Query, and ERP systems, preferably SAP.Experience in workflow automation, data modeling, requirements gathering, and cross-functional project support is preferred.
