Electrical Project Engineer

This is a Perth based role with occasional site visits.The role is accountable for carrying out electrical and instrumentation designs, managing external electrical contractors and consultants to produce project deliverables.You will also provide technical support for on-site execution of the electrical and instrumentation portion of both capital and maintenance improvement projects within the Maintenance and Engineering department.Duties:Carry out electrical and instrumentation design for capital and maintenance projectsLiaising with site for E&I compliance with regard to Project scopesDevelopment of operational and capital project budgetsManage external electrical and instrumentation design consultantsEnsure all design work conforms to all statutory requirements and applicable national standardsManage cost, schedule and scope for OPEX and CAPEX initiativesManage on-site execution contractorsProvide engineering support and advice for electrical and instrumentation infrastructure across siteAttend/Facilitate various Project meetingsCompile responses to any technical queries raised from site in Project executionThe ideal candidate will possess:Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, preferably a bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience3 – 5 years relevant industry experience involved in site based projectsDrafting co ordination experienceExcellent time management and organization skillsCapability to manage multiple projects in accordance with agreed budgets and schedulesWhile this role is a client team secondment, the role has a good chance of transitioning into the ECG Engineering team in a long-term role.
