Executive / Senior Executive - Finance

Key AccountabilitiesTo provide data and supporting documents to Shared Service Centre (FSSC) and review financial report. To liaise with FSSC to execute related activities to ensure accurate accounting, cash flow management and tax computations.To prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management and Group Finance.To manage and monitor current account and HDA account to ensure payment obligations are met when due and that HDA withdrawals and payments comply with the Housing Development (Housing Development Account) Regulations. To highlight any foreseeable shortage of funds and initiate a funding request when cash is insufficient.To review audit schedule and account reconciliation. To assist in audit matters (eg: preparing and providing documents to auditors) to ensure smooth and successful audit process.To prepare annual budgets, business plan submissions and forecasts, and analyse variances against actual performance to support financial performance management.To ensure tax compliance, timely tax filing (e.g. tax estimates, tax computations and returns) and timely tax payments (including tax instalments) to avoid penalties.To liaise with the banks on relevant documentation (eg: change bank signatories, apply new bank accounts and loan drawdown when required) and to follow up accordingly.To liaise with external parties (e.g. JV partner) and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.To administer and execute department guidelines and SOPs to ensure compliance.To support & coordinate with the line managers and matrix team members to achieve timely completion of operational tasks.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in accounting, audit or commercial finance, with working knowledge of accounting standards, tax and compliance requirements. Experience with a property developer or HDA is an added advantage.Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; or with relevant professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA)Strong in financial and variance analysis, proficient in Excel, and having prior experience with accounting systems (e.g. IFCA, SAP)Good communication skills, able to work with internal and external stakeholders such as banks, auditors and JV partnersAnalytical, detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to handle confidential information with integrity
