Location: Dubai, UAEContract: 6 Months, extendableWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMExperience: 6–8 YearsJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Engineer to support engineering fit-out applications, interior design works, authority approvals, site inspections, and fit-out project delivery within a commercial / healthcare facilities environment.The role will involve reviewing tenant and contractor submissions, coordinating approvals and NOCs, conducting inspections, and managing fit-out and refurbishment projects from design review through completion and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesReview fit-out, interior design, and signage submissions for compliance with engineering guidelines and authority requirements.Coordinate with tenants, consultants, contractors, and internal departments to resolve technical queries.Support issuance and tracking of permits, NOCs, approvals, and technical comments.Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project conditions.Review and coordinate internal fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.Prepare scope of work, technical specifications, and project requirements.Manage fit-out projects through planning, design review, execution, snagging, completion, and handover.Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and timelines.Identify defects and non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.Maintain records of submissions, approvals, inspection reports, permits, and correspondence.Prepare technical reports, progress updates, snagging lists, and handover documentation.Coordinate with relevant authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Design, or related discipline.6–8 years of experience in commercial fit-out, interior projects, property development, or facilities/project management.Strong experience in commercial / institutional fit-out projects.Experience reviewing technical drawings, fit-out submissions, and authority requirements.Knowledge of NOCs, permits, approvals, inspections, and fit-out compliance processes.Experience managing projects from design review through execution and handover.Strong understanding of interior fit-out, refurbishment, snagging, and quality control.Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.UAE experience is strongly preferred.Key SkillsCommercial Fit-Out, Interior Fit-Out, Fit-Out Engineering, Project Management, Interior Design Review, Technical Submissions, Authority Approvals, NOC Coordination, Permit Management, Site Inspection, Snagging, Handover, Refurbishment Projects, Contractor Management, Consultant Coordination, Quality Control, Technical Specifications, Scope of Work, Drawing Review, Project Coordination, Stakeholder Management, Progress Monitoring, Fit-Out Compliance.
