The tooling, integrations and approach will be shaped by you, and what you learn in the field will feed directly into the core product.Forward Deployed Engineer Responsibilities:Building and running the data flows and system connections that bring partner data and model outputs togetherShipping practical interfaces and dashboards so decision makers can see and act on resultsSpotting problems no one has scoped yet, solving them, and turning the fixes into reusable productBeing the trusted technical voice the partner relies on across a long engagementForward Deployed Engineer Requirements:Around three or more years building and running production software since graduating, typically in backend, full-stack or ML engineeringHands-on experience with data pipelines and integrations in messy, real environmentsEnough front-end ability to build a clean, working dashboard yourselfConfidence working directly with clients or users, and the communication skills to earn their trust over timeA clear picture of where your career is heading, and why each move so far has taken you thereBackgrounds that tend to fit well:-Early engineers at venture-backed startupsClient-embedded or field engineering teamsEngineers from infrastructure, government technology or physical-world data businesses.This is a high-commitment role at a pivotal stage. Expect to work fully on-site as the company scales.
