G-Gallery | SoHo, New York City | On-siteAbout UsWe're hiring on behalf of G-Gallery, a contemporary art gallery and premium event space in the heart of SoHo, New York City, operating under the same ownership as Unique Media.Our beautifully designed 2,000 sq. ft. venue hosts art exhibitions, corporate events, brand activations, and creative productions.We're looking for an experienced, commercially driven General Manager to oversee operations, develop client relationships, increase venue bookings, and help grow the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily gallery operations and event activities.Organize and coordinate exhibitions, corporate events, and brand activations.Attract new clients, generate leads, and increase venue bookings.Conduct venue tours, negotiate agreements, and close deals.Build relationships with brands, agencies, event organizers, and partners.Coordinate vendors and ensure smooth event execution.Identify new business opportunities and support gallery growth.RequirementsProven experience in event management is mandatory.Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.Fluent English is essential.Experience in venue management, hospitality, or business development is a plus.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Independent, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.Must be based in NYC, preferably near SoHo, with easy access to the gallery.Flexibility to work during events, including evenings and weekends.What We OfferOpportunity to manage a unique creative venue in the heart of NYC.Direct collaboration with ownership.Opportunity to grow the business and explore a long-term operating partnership.Dynamic environment combining art, events, and business.
