Role Description The Director role at Wipro is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Director will oversee strategic planning and execution for key business units or portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities. Daily responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, driving operational excellence, and monitoring financial performance and project outcomes. The Director will guide account growth, influence client engagements, and support business development by identifying new opportunities and shaping solution strategies. This role also includes mentoring senior leaders, establishing governance frameworks, and promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusivity.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in senior leadership roles managing complex programs, portfolios, or business units in IT, consulting, or related industries.Strong strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder management capabilities, with a track record of driving growth and transformation.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, build collaborative relationships, and influence outcomes across diverse internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership and clients.Solid understanding of technology trends, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions, preferably in a global delivery environment.Ability to analyze financial and operational metrics, manage budgets, and ensure profitability and efficiency of assigned portfolios.Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.Experience working in or with global teams, and commitment to fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory, and ethical work culture.
