After more than 25 years at the forefront of the industry, the property will undergo a carefully considered restoration led by renowned designer Tristan Auer, bringing a refined contemporary vision while preserving the legacy, craftsmanship, and spirit of this extraordinary landmark.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Beverage - Food & Beverage role to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Drive the hotel-wide beverage strategy, business plans, innovative concepts, and distinct outlet experiences aligned with luxury market trends and Jumeirah Burj Al Arab's brand positioning.Own P&L targets—including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, cost of sales, and revenue growth, while overseeing cellar management, purchasing, stock control, and waste reduction.Establish strict operating standards, compliance, and quality controls across all restaurants, bars, banqueting, and events.Recruit, coach, and develop sommeliers and beverage teams through structured training, tastings, and certification programs.Partner with luxury brands, producers, and internal departments (Culinary, F&B Operations, Marketing, Finance, Procurement) while representing the property at industry and media events.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, F&B, or Business Administration (or equivalent), combined with an advanced professional beverage certification (e.g., WSET Level 3 or equivalent), and complemented by fluent written and spoken English; Minimum 10 years’ progressive Food and Beverage experience within luxury hospitality, including significant senior leadership responsibility for beverage operations.Proven experience developing and implementing beverage strategy across multiple high-end restaurants, bars, lounges or event operations.Demonstrated success in beverage concept development, commercial performance, cost control, inventory management and supplier negotiation.Strong industry network and track record of sourcing premium products and creating distinctive beverage experiences.Proven ability to lead and develop sommeliers, bartenders and beverage teams within a complex luxury operation.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
