HEAD OF QUALITY CONTROL (m/f/d)Pharma CDMO | Baden-Württemberg ▸ Saarland | PermanentFull QC ownership, final release authority, and the chance to shape lab processes at a growing site.I’m partnering with a family-owned pharmaceutical services company, one of the leading names in its field, on a senior quality leadership role. Their products reach patients worldwide, and quality sits at the core of how they operate.THE ROLE▸ Responsible for cGMP-compliant microbiological and chemical testing of finished drug products, intermediates and media, including environmental monitoring▸ Final authority on the release or rejection of analyses▸ Line management of a team of specialists and lab technicians▸ Lead representative for the labs in customer and regulatory audits▸ Owner of SOPs, method and equipment validation, and lab procedures▸ Decision-maker on CAPAs when limits are exceeded, and on work priorities▸ Capacity planning and annual budget for headcount, capex and operating costs▸ Designing and establishing lab processes in a cGMP environmentTHE LOCATION12 to 18 months of onboarding in Baden-Württemberg, followed by a permanent move to the site in Saarland.YOUR PROFILE▸ Degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, biochemistry or a related science▸ Several years of industry experience in a cGMP environment, including people leadership▸ Precise, accountable and pragmatic, with an independent, hands-on working style▸ Quick to grasp complex issues and resilient under pressure▸ German at C1 level or above, plus fluent business EnglishTHE PACKAGE▸ Base salary, variable pay and a company success bonus▸ Shift and overtime supplements, plus holiday pay▸ At least 30 days’ holiday, flexitime and some remote working▸ Company pension, working-time account and supplementary health insurance▸ EGYM Wellpass, Deutschland-Ticket, JobRad and employee discounts▸ Strong training and development within a family-run, financially stable businessInterested?
