Junior Legal Officer

We are currently assisting an international group operating in the maritime industry in its search for a Junior Legal Officer to join its Luxembourg-based Legal Department.With an established international presence, our client offers a dynamic, multicultural environment.You will join a small, collaborative team and contribute to the development and structuring of the Legal Department.This role combines hands-on legal work, data protection and legal digitalization, offering the opportunity to develop a broad skill set and grow alongside the function.Junior Legal Officer: Your responsibilities:Manage day-to-day KYC processes, including document reviews, follow-ups and the preparation of related NDAs.Draft and review legal documents and provide general legal support to the Head of Legal.Contribute to the development of internal legal processes, workflows and LegalTech tools.Support the implementation of the group’s GDPR framework and data protection procedures.Work with IT and operational teams to improve legal operations, document management and digitalisation.Junior Legal Officer: Your profile:University degree in Law, with an initial experience in a legal department, law firm or corporate environment.Strong interest in IT/IP law, commercial law, data protection and LegalTech.Curious about AI and digitalisation, with the ability to translate legal needs into practical solutions.Strong organisational, analytical and drafting skills, combined with a proactive, detail-oriented and hands-on approach.Fluent in English; French is an advantage.Why consider this opportunity?Help shape a developing Legal Department and contribute directly to its organisation and future growth.Gain exposure to a broad range of legal and commercial matters in an international business environment.Combine traditional legal work with LegalTech, digitalization and data protection projects.Work closely with the Head of Legal in a small, collaborative team, with opportunities to progressively expand your responsibilities.Interested in combining your legal knowledge with technology and process improvement?
