About usFuture Edge Institute is the education arm of the Kydon Group, Singapore. We’re launching the AI Agent Engineer Programme, a live online course where engineers learn to build, secure and ship AI agents in production. The programme serves learners across Australia and Singapore, and our first cohort starts in late January 2027.The roleWe’re looking for a Lead Trainer to be the face of the programme. You’ll teach live online, guide learners through hands-on work, and help us build a community of AI builders across APAC. You’ll work alongside an experienced instructor team who support the technical content.What you’ll doCo-deliver live online weekend courses with our instructor teamHost free online taster sessions and info sessions for prospective learnersSupport learners through hands-on labs and review their workHost the online capstone Demo Day with industry panellistsHelp improve course content using learner feedbackOccasionally deliver private online cohorts for company teamsWhat you’ll bring3 to 6 years in software, data or ML engineeringHands-on experience building with LLMs: RAG, tool calling and AI agents (MCP or LangGraph a plus)Working knowledge of Docker, cloud and CI/CDExperience teaching, mentoring or running workshops or meetupsClear, confident and engaging on camera, with a strong home studio setup (good camera, mic and internet)Based in Australia or Singapore with the right to work thereAvailable on selected weekends, with sessions run in Singapore and Sydney time zonesNice to haveExperience in AI security, evaluation or observabilityActive in the AI or developer communityExperience teaching learners across Asia PacificThe engagementRemote contract role, paid per weekend deliveredAround 1 to 2 weekends a month to start, growing with demandRoom to grow into a long-term role as the programme expands across Australia and AsiaHow to applyApply through LinkedIn and include a short note on something you’ve built with AI agents.
