Location: Dubai, UAEWe are seeking a Legal Counsel to join an established oil trading business, reporting to the General Counsel and supporting a broad range of commercial, operational and corporate legal matters.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review and negotiate oil trading contracts, GT&Cs, charterparties and commercial agreements.Advise on legal matters relating to oil trading, shipping and trade finance.Support disputes, arbitration, litigation and contractual claims.Assist with legal risk management, compliance and the development of standard documentation.Provide support on corporate governance, entity formation and shareholder matters.Requirements5+ years’ legal experience in private practice or in-house.Qualified in a common law jurisdiction.Strong knowledge of English law.Experience in oil trading, commodities, shipping or maritime law.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
