Organizes, prepares and processes specimens. Works independently in assigned departments with the laboratory. Performs testing, evaluates results, solves problems, documents results and communicates reports as needed. Assists in training and orientation of new employees and students. Performs specimen collection duties.
Qualifications
MLS (ASCP) certification orBachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.National Licensure as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician - ASCPLanguage Skills:Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.Additionally languages preferred.
