In this part-time, fully remote role, you will collaborate with software engineers, DevOps specialists, security teams, and other stakeholders to improve system reliability, streamline delivery workflows, and enhance the developer experience.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and systems engineering, with the ability to solve technical challenges and build practical, scalable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain reliable platform infrastructure to support applications, services, and development teams.Build and improve automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, testing, and deployment.Support CI/CD pipelines and help streamline software delivery processes.Manage and optimize cloud environments, container platforms, and orchestration tools where applicable.Monitor platform performance, availability, capacity, and reliability, identifying issues before they affect users.Apply security best practices, access controls, and infrastructure standards in collaboration with relevant teams.Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement lasting solutions.Maintain platform documentation, operational procedures, and reusable engineering resources.Collaborate with development teams to improve observability, scalability, developer tooling, and system resilience.Identify opportunities to reduce infrastructure costs and improve platform efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.RequirementsA minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related field preferred.Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting, version control, and infrastructure automation.Understanding of CI/CD practices, containers, orchestration technologies, and infrastructure as code.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of monitoring, logging, system reliability, and infrastructure security principles.Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification preferred.Professional certifications are not required.What We OfferFlexible, part-time working arrangements in a fully remote environment.The opportunity to build and improve infrastructure that supports modern software delivery.Collaboration with engineering teams on meaningful technical challenges.A culture that encourages automation, experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.Opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise while making a measurable impact on platform reliability and developer productivity.If you enjoy building dependable platforms, automating complex workflows, and enabling engineering teams to work more efficiently, we welcome your application.
