With significant investment already made into their Melbourne operation, they are now seeking an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of the factory floor, support a developing team and help drive the next stage of growth. You'll work closely with senior leadership, have the autonomy to make an impact and play a key role in developing both people and processes.The OpportunityReporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, leading a small production team and ensuring quality, productivity and delivery outcomes are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be highly visible on the factory floor, providing guidance, coaching and technical support while fostering a positive and productive team culture. Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and developing production staffDriving safe and efficient manufacturing operationsMonitoring workflow, productivity and quality standardsIdentifying process improvements and production efficienciesSupporting workforce planning and future team growthEnsuring products are manufactured accurately and delivered on timeMaintaining a strong quality focus and attention to detailWorking closely with leadership to support ongoing business growthAbout YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation, can lead by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when required.
