Location: LondonThe OpportunityA leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major construction projects valued in excess of £50 million across London.This is an opportunity to join a highly respected business with a strong pipeline of secured work across the commercial and mixed-use markets.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the safe, profitable and successful delivery of complex projects from pre-construction through to completion.The RoleReporting to the Regional Director, you will provide strategic leadership across major projects, ensuring excellence in programme, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction.You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive successful project outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of major construction projects valued at £50m+Take full responsibility for programme, budget, quality and safety performanceBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partnersProvide leadership and direction to project delivery teamsDrive commercial performance and protect project marginsManage project risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with all contractual, statutory and company requirementsSupport pre-construction and bid teams on future opportunitiesPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvementDeliver projects to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfactionAbout YouYou will be an accomplished Project Director with a proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects for a Tier 1 or major regional contractor.Essential ExperienceProven experience operating as a Project Director on projects valued at £50m+Strong leadership experience managing large project teamsExcellent client-facing and stakeholder management skillsStrong commercial and contractual awarenessExperience delivering projects through design, procurement, construction and handoverDemonstrable success delivering projects safely, on programme and within budgetDesirable ExperienceExperience on education, commercial or mixed-use developmentsNEC and JCT contract knowledgeQualificationsDegree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)SMSTSCSCS Black CardRelevant professional memberships desirableWhat's on Offer?Competitive executive-level salary and packageOpportunity to lead flagship projects across LondonLong-term career progression within a growing and highly successful contractorSecure pipeline of major projectsCollaborative and forward-thinking working environmentFor a confidential discussion or to apply, please get in touch directly.
