Project Management Team Leader-Oman

We are looking for a Team Leader – Project Management to oversee day-to-day project execution and lead a team of individual contributors in delivering high-quality outputs that meet client specifications and quality standards.In this role, you will coordinate workflows, assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure team productivity while maintaining quality benchmarks. You will also serve as the first point of escalation for your team, drive process improvements, manage team performance, and foster employee engagement and development.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign tasks based on team members’ skills and capacity, monitor work in progress, track productivity metrics, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.Review team outputs for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines, provide feedback and corrections, conduct spot checks and audits, and maintain quality standards.Track individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance trends and bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and report performance metrics to management.Serve as a technical resource for complex project-related questions, clarify ambiguous cases, and ensure consistency across the team.Lead and develop a high-performing, engaged team by providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational issues.Support continuous process improvement and effective project delivery.Core CompetenciesCustomer focus and service orientationEmbracing technologySelf-development and continuous learningLeadership CompetenciesProviding effective leadershipLeading and managing changeBuilding effective teamsManaging stakeholder relationshipsFunctional CompetenciesWorking knowledge of data annotation, machine learning concepts, and related project workflows.Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to plan tasks, track milestones, and manage project timelines and dependencies.Ability to manage daily workflows, assign and prioritize tasks, monitor work in progress, and ensure timely delivery.Experience managing one or multiple projects with budgets ranging from $5 million to $7 million, particularly in data annotation, localization, and natural language processing.General budget management expertise.Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and technical challenges.QualificationsAt least 3 years of project management experience, preferably within the machine learning or technology industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.B2-level or higher proficiency in written and spoken English.
