SAP Project / Delivery Manager
The successful candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery, coordinate business and technical teams, and ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and support projects from initiation through go-live and post-go-live support.Define project scope, objectives, plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.Manage project teams, SAP functional and technical consultants, vendors, and third-party partners.Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and executive sponsors.Coordinate requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, data migration, integration, and deployment.Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and delivery processes.Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes; develop and implement mitigation plans.Manage budgets, resource allocation, delivery quality, and contractual commitments.Oversee testing, cutover, go-live readiness, and transition to business-as-usual support.Drive stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and change management activities.Provide clear status updates and escalate delivery concerns in a timely manner.Ensure project delivery aligns with client standards, security requirements, and relevant compliance obligations.Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.10+ years of overall professional experience, including substantial experience delivering SAP projects.Proven experience managing end-to-end SAP implementations or complex SAP transformation programmes.Strong understanding of SAP project delivery methodologies and the SAP implementation lifecycle.Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC; exposure to relevant SAP modules and integrations is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, budgets, vendors, and competing priorities.Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, change control, testing, cutover, and go-live processes.Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work onsite in Dubai and collaborate with teams across business and technical functions.PreferredPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.SAP Activate or other SAP project delivery certification.Experience delivering SAP projects in the Middle East or a multinational environment.Experience with Agile, hybrid, and/or waterfall delivery models.Arabic language skills are an advantage.Please note: SAP modules and any industry-specific experience can be added once the client’s project scope is confirmed.
