Senior Business Analyst

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Business Analyst – Field Service Management (FSM) for our partner, an established consulting organization specializing in enterprise technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to support large-scale technology implementations for organizations in the utilities, energy, and telecommunications industries, helping modernize field service operations, improve business processes, and optimize enterprise systems.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise Field Service Management (FSM) implementations, working closely with client stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and actionable solutions. These professionals will lead requirements-gathering activities, analyze business processes, develop functional specifications, and support system integrations and testing across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidates will bring strong functional business analysis expertise, hands-on SQL experience, and a solid understanding of utilities, energy, telecommunications, and mobile workforce operations.PERKS100% Remote with some monthly travel. Impactful Projects: Contribute to enterprise technology implementations that modernize field operations and improve service delivery across essential industries.Collaborative Environment: Partner with experienced Solution Architects, Technical Analysts, Project Managers, and business leaders on complex transformation initiatives.Professional Growth: Expand your expertise in enterprise FSM platforms, ERP/CRM integrations, business process optimization, and technology consulting.Competitive Compensation: Base up to $130k/yr plus full benefit offerings.RESPONSIBILITIESLead client-facing discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering workshops to understand business objectives, operational workflows, and system requirements.Analyze existing business processes, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements supporting Field Service Management, mobile workforce operations, and enterprise technology implementations.Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for technical and implementation teams.Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Analysts, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to support FSM implementations and integrations with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.Develop test cases, support functional and integration testing, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with defect identification, resolution, and validation.Utilize SQL, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and process mapping tools to analyze data, manage requirements, maintain project documentation, and support successful system implementations.QUALIFICATIONSExperience: Minimum of 8+ years of professional business analysis experience, with demonstrated involvement in enterprise technology implementations, systems integration, and functional requirements analysis.Industry Expertise: Required experience in utilities, energy, or telecommunications is a MUST, with a strong understanding of Field Service Management (FSM), field operations, and mobile workforce processes.FSM Implementations: Demonstrated hands-on functional business analysis experience supporting enterprise FSM implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, gap assessments, and functional solution design.

Technical Skills

Required hands-on SQL experience for data analysis, querying, and validation, along with proficiency in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and business process mapping tools.Business Analysis & Testing: Demonstrated experience independently leading requirements-gathering workshops, conducting business process and gap analyses, developing detailed functional specifications, writing user stories and test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) throughout enterprise system implementations.Enterprise Systems & Collaboration: Strong understanding of enterprise FSM solutions, mobile workforce operations, and/or integrations with ERP and CRM systems.
