Senior Front-End Engineer (React + Foundry)

Job Summary Our client, a leading energy provider, is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer (React + Foundry) to join their team. This role supports the WiRE platform, a Palantir Foundry-based data platform supporting wildfire mitigation and compliance reporting. The engineer will build data-driven interfaces that enable users to explore, validate, and extract trusted, auditable data for internal reporting and regulatory submissions.Contract DetailsType: ContractDuration: From November 2, 2026, through March 27, 2027,Location: Oakland, CAWork Model: Remote, onsite attendance required as needed.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain React and TypeScript applications hosted within Palantir FoundryDevelop reusable UI components for data exploration, filtering, drill-downs, validation, and extractionIntegrate frontend applications with Foundry Ontology objects and structured datasets through SDKs and APIsCollaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts and keep interfaces aligned with evolving data schemasDesign interfaces that support auditability, traceability, and regulatory reporting requirements while relying on validated backend datasetsBuild file upload, schema validation, and submission workflows with clear validation feedback and detailed logsPartner with data engineers, product managers, PMO stakeholders, and subject matter experts through Agile planning and delivery cyclesRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Strong experience developing enterprise applications using ReactProficiency in TypeScriptExperience building data-driven, API-integrated frontend applicationsUnderstanding of data modeling concepts, including schemas and structured datasetsKnowledge of frontend performance considerations when working with large datasetsPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platformsExperience integrating SDKs and APIs for structured data accessFamiliarity with ontology-based or metadata-driven systemsExposure to compliance, audit, or regulated environmentsExperience with data validation or data quality frameworksExperience developing internal enterprise tools or platformsKey Competencies & BehaviorsStrong collaboration across engineering, product, and business stakeholder teamsAttention to detail when translating data and reporting requirements into user interfacesAnalytical problem-solving skills for data integration, validation, and performance challengesClear communication of technical requirements and implementation decisionsAdaptability to evolving data schemas and iterative delivery prioritiesWork Environment
