This is an excellent opportunity for experienced specialists seeking career growth, a competitive salary, and a rewarding professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage conditions requiring plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical interventionsPerform reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures within authorized clinical privilegesConduct procedures such as rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, liposuction, blepharoplasty, and breast surgery, where appropriately trained and credentialedPerform scar revision, skin grafting, tissue reconstruction, and wound management proceduresManage traumatic injuries, burns, congenital deformities, and post-surgical reconstruction casesConduct comprehensive patient consultations and develop individualized surgical treatment plansPerform detailed pre-operative assessments and explain surgical risks, benefits, and expected outcomesProvide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complicationsCollaborate with dermatologists, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teamsMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure informed patient consentEnsure compliance with DOH regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient safety standardsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery / Plastic & Reconstructive SurgeryBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualificationAmerican Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirableMinimum 3-5 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirementsStrong expertise in reconstructive surgery, aesthetic procedures, and advanced plastic surgical techniquesExcellent surgical skills, aesthetic judgment, and patient communication abilitiesEligible for DOH Specialist Plastic Surgery classification/license in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements and clinical privilegesBenefitsCompetitive salary package and attractive employment benefitsOpportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility in Abu DhabiModern operating theatres and advanced plastic surgery technologiesMedical insurance and annual leave, subject to applicable employment termsExcellent career growth and professional development opportunitiesLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
