Technical Senior Programme Manager – Azure TransformationB2B Contract | Fully Remote | Poland or HungaryWe are looking for an experienced Technical Senior Programme Manager to support enterprise-level Azure transformation and technology advisory engagements for an international technology services organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who combines strong technical understanding of Microsoft Azure with programme leadership, strategic consulting and commercial delivery experience.You will work with architects, engineers, sales teams and customer stakeholders to shape technology transformation initiatives, lead complex delivery programmes and ensure successful business and technical outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic technology assessments, working with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and technology requirements.Assess existing technology environments, identify capability gaps and develop future-state roadmaps and transformation strategies.Build business cases covering costs, benefits, risks and options for Azure migration, infrastructure consolidation, automation and optimisation.Support pre-sales activities by shaping advisory and migration engagements, defining scope, deliverables, estimates, milestones and resource requirements.Manage multiple technology projects and workstreams, maintaining programme governance, delivery plans, budgets, risks and dependencies.Track financial forecasts, contractual commitments, delivery milestones and revenue realisation.Provide technical programme oversight across Azure Landing Zones, cloud workloads, infrastructure automation and CI/CD delivery.Coordinate architects, engineers, customer teams and other stakeholders to ensure delivery quality, operational readiness and successful handover to support teams.Required Skills and ExperienceProven experience in senior programme management within cloud transformation, technology consulting or enterprise IT delivery.Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, particularly enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones, governance, identity, networking and security.Experience overseeing Azure workloads, including Virtual Machines, App Service, Azure OpenAI and Azure Database for PostgreSQL.Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, particularly Terraform, Terragrunt and Ansible.Familiarity with Azure DevOps repositories, CI/CD pipelines and controlled deployment processes.Experience with programme governance, risk management, financial forecasting, resource planning and change control.Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive-level stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams.Experience supporting pre-sales, engagement scoping, proposals or Statements of Work.Ability to balance technical delivery, customer outcomes and commercial commitments.Fluent or strong working proficiency in German is essential.Contract DetailsContract type: B2B / ContractorInitial duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
