Its 2025 vision is to remain a wholly local company while becoming one of the top 100 pharmaceutical companies globally.We are looking for an Upstream Production Specialist/ Senior Specialist to join our Drug Substance Production team at the Biotechnological Production Facility (AbdiBio) on the Esenyurt campusThe requirements for the successful candidate are:Bachelor's/master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related life science discipline0–6 years of experience in biopharma/biotech (Upstream)Hands-on experience with: Single-use bioreactors (Wave, 100L–2000L)Analytical tools (cell counters, metabolite/gas analyzers, pH meter, osmometer)Knowledge of cGMP, aseptic processing, and quality systems (Change Control, CAPA, Deviations)Strong communication in English, and a collaborative, improvement-focused mindsetThe key duties of the successful candidate are:Execute GMP-compliant upstream operationsOperate and troubleshoot process equipment (bioreactors, Biosafety cabinets, incubators)Prepare media, buffers, and solutions for cell cultureMaintain accurate documentation (BMRs, logbooks, SOPs)Perform CIP/SIP and support equipment readiness and cleaningAdhere to safety, compliance, and quality standards in all activitiesDeviations write up, investigations, CAPA and effective checks Applicants with suitable qualifications are kindly invited to apply through LinkedIn.
