The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support customer billing, accounts receivable, cash application, and sales tax processes while maintaining accurate information across our CRM and accounting systems. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and software, learns new systems quickly, and wants to grow in accounting and finance operations at a healthcare technology company.The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and thrives on a dynamic team.Responsibilities include:Support billing operations by preparing and following up on invoices for new and recurring customersMaintain accurate customer and billing records across the CRM and accounting system; investigate and resolve discrepancies between systemsProvide excellent customer service and assistance when interacting with customersProvide W-9s, statements and other documentation to customers as neededSupport sales tax compliance by gathering and reconciling transaction data, maintaining exemption documentation, and assisting with filingsCollaborate with internal departments to address billing issues and other invoice related inquiriesSupport and maintain the Company’s cash application processAssist with researching sales tax requirements by state and local jurisdiction, documenting findings, and escalating questions for reviewRequired Experience:Entry-level experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance operations; relevant internships, coursework, or equivalent experience will be consideredBasic understanding of invoices, payment terms, accounts receivable, and account reconciliationsWorking knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, and using formulas to organize and check dataStrong attention to detail and comfort working with numerical informationAble to investigate discrepancies, identify possible causes, and follow through on resolving themClear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including when responding to customer questionsOrganized and dependable, with the ability to manage recurring tasks and meet deadlinesCurious about business software and able to learn new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Experience
