Do you know how to win listings and grow accounts in duty-free?Is your travel retail track record strong enough to move you into a new sector?Ready to take on the Middle East travel retail channel from Dubai, with a generous relocation package?MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading international beverage business on the search for an Area Manager – Travel Retail based in Dubai, UAE.This is a commercially focused sales role covering duty-free and other travel retail accounts across the Middle East. You will build customer relationships, win listings and visibility, and deliver sales growth across a portfolio of premium beverage brands, working with duty-free purchasing teams, outlet managers and internal sales and marketing colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with travel retail customers and key commercial stakeholdersIdentify new business opportunities and develop existing accountsDevelop account plans and sales activity to deliver agreed revenue and growth objectivesWork with customers to improve product presence, ranging, visibility and sales performanceNegotiate and progress commercial opportunities in line with business prioritiesMonitor account performance, flag risks and opportunities, and agree follow-up actionsCoordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and deliver on commitmentsMaintain accurate account records and share customer and market insight to inform future channel opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking ForDemonstrable sales and account management experience within travel retailA track record of developing customer relationships, growing accounts and delivering sales resultsUnderstanding of travel retail’s customer, channel and commercial dynamicsConfidence negotiating, presenting and engaging with stakeholders at different levelsA proactive, commercially focused approach to finding and progressing new opportunitiesStrong organisation, communication and relationship-management skillsDrinks or beverage experience is welcome but not essential where travel retail and sales experience are strongImportant to NoteTravel retail sales expertise is the key requirement. Candidates from other industries will be considered if they have directly relevant travel retail experience and a strong commercial track record.Location & RelocationThe successful candidate must be based in Dubai, UAE. The search is international, and candidates currently outside the UAE are welcome to apply if they are willing to relocate.
