WE ARE HIRING | Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & JoineryARAS Fine Interiors L.L.C. | UAEARAS Fine Interiors is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery to join our growing team.The successful candidate will play a key role in our pre-contract and commercial activities, supporting the company's growth across interior fit-out, refurbishment, joinery, and Design & Build projects.Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery works.Prepare competitive quotations and commercial proposals.Read, review, and interpret architectural, structural, and detailed finishing drawings using AutoCAD.Coordinate RFQs with suppliers and subcontractors and prepare comparison sheets.Develop project budgets, cost breakdowns, and tender summaries.Identify scope gaps, exclusions, qualifications, and commercial risks before submission.Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, procurement, projects, and management during tender preparation.Prepare and manage tender submissions within required deadlines.Respond to tender clarifications and participate in post-tender negotiations.Conduct value engineering and identify cost-saving alternatives.Assist management with tender Go / No-Go evaluations.Support variations, additional works, and commercial claims.Monitor project budgets and assist with cost control after award.Support interim valuations, subcontractor evaluations, and final accounts when required.Maintain tender records, cost databases, and historical pricing information.Coordinate closely with Business Development to ensure timely commercial responses to new opportunities.Provide regular tender and commercial pipeline reports to management.Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline.Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience, preferably with an interior fit-out contractor.Strong hands-on experience in interior fit-out, refurbishment, joinery, and finishing works estimation.Solid background in Quantity Surveying (QS) and cost estimation.Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, with the ability to read, interpret, and measure quantities from technical drawings.In-depth knowledge of interior finishing materials, specifications, construction methods, and detailed finishing works.Strong understanding of UAE market prices, including material costs, labour rates, productivity, and subcontractor pricing.Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost breakdowns.Proven ability to independently prepare complete fit-out estimates and commercial proposals.Experience dealing with UAE suppliers and subcontractors.Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of estimation/QS software is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.Good written and spoken English.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with an existing UAE supplier and subcontractor network and previous experience estimating projects across the following sectors will be preferred:Commercial / Office Fit-OutResidentialHospitalityRetailHealthcareRefurbishment & RenovationJoineryDesign & BuildImportant – Please Read Before ApplyingWe are specifically looking for candidates with a Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying background and proven hands-on experience in Interior Fit-Out Estimation and Quantity Surveying.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, interior finishing details, materials, and UAE market prices is essential.Candidates with general engineering, unrelated construction, administrative, or non-fit-out experience will not be considered.Application RequirementsInterested candidates are requested to submit their updated CV along with the following details:Current SalaryExpected SalaryNotice Period / AvailabilityYears of UAE ExperienceExamples of Interior Fit-Out / Joinery Projects Previously Estimated📍 Location: UAE💼 Employment: Full-time📩 Email Subject: Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out
