Area Sales Manager - Beverage , FMCG

Requirement : 3 [ Kathmandu, Lumbini, Nepalgunj ]Job SummaryThe Area Sales Manager will oversee sales activities within the assigned territory,focusing on achieving business objectives, increasing revenue, strengtheningmarket presence, and effectively managing distributors and sales personnel.Key Responsibilities○ Meet monthly and annual sales revenue and collection objectives.○ Identify business opportunities to expand market reach and improvemarket share.○ Recruit, manage, and develop distributors, dealers, and channel partners.○ Increase retail outlet coverage and ensure consistent product availabilityacross the territory.○ Supervise, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve assignedtargets.○ Ensure effective market implementation and compliance with plannedsales and outlet visit schedules.○ Identify inactive and low-performing outlets and implement measures toimprove sales performance.○ Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, market updates, andManagement Information System (MIS) reports.○ Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences todevelop effective sales strategies.○ Maintain strong business relationships with distributors, retailers, and keyaccounts.○ Monitor territory performance and take corrective action to address salesgaps.○ Ensure efficient execution of sales plans, promotional activities, anddistribution initiatives.Key Requirements○ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.○ Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in FMCG sales.○ Proven experience in sales team supervision, distributor management,and territory development.○ Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solvingabilities.○ Good understanding of market development, retail distribution, and salesoperations.○ Ability to analyze sales data and prepare performance reports.○ Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
