Assistant Operations Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Operations to oversee daily factory operations, ensure production targets, maintain quality and safety standards, and improve operational efficiency in our rice and flour milling operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily factory operations and ensure timely achievement of production targets.Supervise production staff, machine operators, and factory workers.Monitor production schedules, product quality, and operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and company standards.Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Purchase, Inventory, and Logistics teams.Monitor raw material usage, inventory levels, and finished goods movement.Minimize production downtime, material wastage, and operational costs.Maintain production records, operational reports, and performance data.Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.Support process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.Minimum 6–10 years of experience in factory or production operations, preferably in food processing, rice milling, or FMCG manufacturing.Experience in team management, production planning, inventory control, and process improvement.Good knowledge of machinery operations, quality standards, and workplace safety.Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.Mandatory : Candidates must be fluent in Malayalam.
