BIM Architect (B.Arch Must)Full-time | Work From Office | Kolkata, West Bengal | 2-3 Years of Experience | 5+ Years of ExperienceCompany DescriptionSalient is a multidisciplinary design practice working across architecture, landscape, interiors, urban design, and master planning.We are looking for a BIM Architect with a B.Arch qualification, strong architectural and technical understanding, and hands-on experience in developing architectural building models in Autodesk Revit.Role DescriptionThe BIM Architect will be responsible for developing and managing architectural building models in Revit, preparing coordinated architectural documentation, and supporting multidisciplinary coordination across different stages of a project.The role requires a sound understanding of architecture, building systems, construction drawings, detailing, and BIM-based project workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural building models in Autodesk Revit from design development through construction documentationPrepare coordinated architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and documentation from BIM modelsDevelop and maintain accurate architectural model information across different project stagesTranslate architectural design intent into accurate BIM models and construction documentationCoordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and other consultant modelsIdentify and resolve model clashes, coordination issues, and documentation inconsistenciesMaintain BIM standards, model organisation, accuracy, and consistency across project deliverablesCoordinate with architects, consultants, and internal project teams throughout the design and documentation processQualificationsBachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is mandatoryMinimum 2 years of relevant professional experienceProficiency in developing architectural building models in Autodesk RevitStrong understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, building systems, and construction documentationExperience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination will be preferredCandidates from Civil Engineering backgrounds without a B.Arch qualification will not be considered for this position
