Chief Digital Officer

Express Trailers Group is seeking a visionary Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to architect and lead our digital future. This executive role will drive the integration of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, business intelligence, and process design and automation to deliver a seamless and scalable operational environment. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to a high-performance digital department developed by nurturing internal and external talent across IT, Data, and Process Operations.Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, translating technical roadmaps into actionable and measurable business outcomes.Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks through process automation.Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and maintain a balance between in-house and outsourced services.Prepare, present and manage IT/Digital budgets, ensuring transparency, compliance, and costeffective investment in digital projects.Architect and maintain a robust IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud services, telephony, and security systems.Lead IT operations, ensuring stability, availability, and an efficient helpdesk support function.Uphold risk and compliance standards (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001) and manage cybersecurity frameworks.Drive the lifecycle and integration of core business systems, supporting seamless data flows and use of AI for productivity improvement.Establish and oversee data governance to convert data into actionable insights for management.Lead digital transformation and process engineering, fostering a digital-first culture aligned with company goals.Required Experience & Skills: Minimum five (5) years’ proven experience in an enterprise IT environment.Ability to align technical strategies with commercial objectives.Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.Data-driven mindset with expertise in IT applications and infrastructure, IT risk management, process re-engineering and business insights.
