Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site work and remote work from home. The role involves supporting community health initiatives, coordinating with local partners, and assisting with outreach activities that align with the Consortium’s mission. Day-to-day tasks may include organizing meetings and community events, gathering and documenting community feedback, and preparing basic reports or communication materials. The role also supports collaborative projects with health systems and community-based organizations, helping ensure culturally responsive and community-informed services.QualificationsStrong community engagement and outreach abilities, including experience working with underserved or diverse populations.Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with community members and partner organizations.Organizational and coordination skills to support meetings, events, and project activities in a hybrid work setting.Basic data collection, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Understanding of or interest in public health, social services, or community-based health programs.Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, managing time and responsibilities in both on-site and remote environments.Cultural humility and sensitivity, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices.Relevant education or training in community health, social work, public health, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in a community-focused role is a plus.
