We are looking for a visionary, tech-obsessed, and business-savvy Chief Technology Officer to own our technology strategy, build our foundational infrastructure, and scale our engineering team from the ground up.Role OverviewAs our CTO, you will be a core member of the executive team. In the early stages, you must be a hands-on builder willing to write clean code, design the initial system architecture, and launch our MVP. As we secure funding and grow, your role will transition into a strategic executive leader managing engineering teams, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and aligning our technical roadmap with international business expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesTech Strategy & Architecture: Define the company’s technology stack, architecture, and long-term development roadmap to ensure scalability, security, and peak performance.Hands-on Development: Own the initial codebase, rapidly develop prototypes, and iterate on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on early user feedback.Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class team of developers, QA engineers, and product designers as the company scales.Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Implement cost-effective cloud solutions, DevOps pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish protocols to ensure data privacy, intellectual property protection, and compliance with UAE and global digital governance regulations.Investor Relations: Act as the technical face of the company during venture capital pitches, clearly explaining our technical advantages and IP value to investors.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years leading engineering teams or acting as a tech startup founder/CTO.Technical Mastery: Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, React Native, Flutter, AWS/GCP, or equivalent stacks optimized for mobile/web apps).Scalability Track Record: Proven experience architecture-testing software that has successfully scaled to hundreds of thousands or millions of active users.Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business strategies for non-technical stakeholders and investors.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent elite-level engineering experience).What We OfferCompetitive monthly salary (tax-free in Dubai) scaled to our funding rounds.Substantive equity/shares package commensurate with co-founder status.Key role in shaping a company targeted for a billion-dollar trajectory from its infancy.Comprehensive health insurance and relocation assistance to Dubai if required.
