The Civil Engineer will prepare, review, and optimize civil engineering designs for interior fit-out and construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating project activities, conducting site inspections, and collaborating with designers, project managers, and quantity surveyors to align engineering solutions with project scope, schedule, and budget. The role involves performing calculations, overseeing stormwater management and drainage solutions, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Civil Engineer will also contribute to quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.Qualifications Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for developing, reviewing, and optimizing structural and infrastructure solutions.Planning skills and experience working within multidisciplinary teams of Civil Engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design for commercial and interior fit-out projects.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional certification or chartered status is an advantage.Proficiency with industry-standard design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar tools).Strong understanding of regional building codes, construction standards, and health and safety regulations in the Middle East.
