About the company:A global pharmaceutical company with an established presence in Japan, a diverse portfolio and continued investment in new product launches. The business is strengthening its commercial insights and analytics capabilities to support growth and strategic decision-making.About the role:Lead the commercial insights and analytics agenda for Japan, translating market, customer and business performance data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.The remit combines market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting and commercial analytics to support brand strategy, launch readiness and portfolio planning. You will strengthen performance measurement, identify growth opportunities and improve how insights inform customer engagement and commercial execution.Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Medical, Market Access and global colleagues, you will develop team capabilities and bring successful approaches from across markets into the Japan business.Who would be successful:A pharmaceutical or healthcare professional with 10+ years’ experience in commercial insights, analytics, forecasting, market research or life sciences consulting.You will combine analytical depth with commercial judgement, team leadership and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
