We're Hiring | Consultant Intensivist📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Intensivist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE.The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in critical care medicine, advanced life support, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and the management of critically ill patients. The role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality intensive care services.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Provide comprehensive treatment for sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, ARDS, and multiorgan dysfunctionManage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory supportPerform endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and other critical care procedures within authorized clinical privilegesManage hemodynamically unstable patients requiring vasopressors, advanced monitoring, and organ supportLead emergency resuscitation, advanced cardiac life support, and critical patient stabilizationInterpret arterial blood gases, ECG, laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and bedside ultrasoundDevelop individualized ICU treatment plans and monitor patient progressCoordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharge planning within intensive care servicesCollaborate with anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary ICU teamsEnsure compliance with DHA regulations, ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standardsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine, or an accepted primary specialty with advanced critical care trainingBoard certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualificationAmerican Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirableMinimum 5-10 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferredStrong expertise in mechanical ventilation, advanced airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical patient stabilizationValid ACLS certification or equivalent is preferredEligible for the appropriate DHA Consultant Intensive Care / Critical Care Medicine classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirementsBenefitsCompetitive salary package and attractive employment benefitsOpportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility in DubaiModern intensive care units and advanced critical care technologiesMedical insurance and annual leave, subject to applicable employment termsExcellent career growth and professional development opportunitiesLicensing assistance available for eligible candidatesImportant Note for ApplicantsIf you have already submitted your CV to Astra Promed FZC , please do not reapply for the same or other advertised positions.
