Fire Protection Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, inspection, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems, including Fire Alarm, Firefighting, Fire & Gas Detection, and Fire Suppression Systems.The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and experience working on construction projects and maintenance contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, and repair fire protection systems, including Fire Alarm, Fire & Gas Detection, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Pumps, Fire Hydrants, and Fire Suppression Systems.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper system operation.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire protection equipment and systems.Conduct periodic inspections and functional testing of fire protection systems.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot FM-200 and other fire suppression systems.Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments.Perform technical activities on construction projects and maintenance contracts based on project requirements.Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and testing documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, technical standards, and regulations.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the Fire Protection field.Proven experience in Fire Alarm Systems, Firefighting Systems, or both.Strong knowledge of fire protection equipment, including Fire Pumps, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Hydrants, FM-200 Systems, Smoke Detectors, and Heat Detectors.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Experience in installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire protection systems.Previous experience in Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects and industrial projects.Experience working on construction projects or maintenance contracts.Familiarity with fire protection testing equipment and tools.Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of fire protection safety procedures and applicable standards.Key SkillsFire Alarm SystemsFirefighting SystemsFire & Gas Detection SystemsFire Suppression Systems (FM-200)Fire Pumps & Sprinkler SystemsFire HydrantsInstallation & MaintenanceTesting & CommissioningPreventive & Corrective MaintenanceTroubleshooting & Fault DiagnosisTechnical Drawings & SchematicsIndustrial & SEC ProjectsInterested candidates are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply.
