Zahir Kebab a part of Zahir & Zahid Group is looking for a hands-on, strategic Head of HR to strengthen our people operations in Poland and support the wider Zahir & Zahid Group in Portugal and other European markets as we grow. This is an opportunity to influence the HR agenda at both headquarters and operational level; partnering directly with senior leadership, country managers and restaurant operations to build scalable, people-focused practices.What you will leadOwn and develop the HR function across Poland, while coordinating HR initiatives with teams in Portugal and other European markets.Build consistent HR policies, systems and processes for a growing, multi-location, multicultural organization.Lead workforce planning, recruitment and talent acquisition for head office and restaurant operations, including international hiring.Oversee the employee lifecycle: onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, development and offboarding.Partner with Operations and country leaders on staffing, people challenges, employee retention and organizational effectiveness.Develop practical HR reporting and KPIs covering recruitment, turnover, absenteeism and workforce trends.Guide managers on HR matters and coordinate learning, leadership development and succession planning.Ensure local HR processes, employment documentation and practices comply with applicable requirements; support cross-border collaboration and travel as needed.What you bringAt least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with the confidence to lead or independently manage a broad HR function.Experience in hospitality, restaurants, food service, retail or another multi-site, operationally intensive service business is strongly preferred.Solid expertise in HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR policies.Excellent professional English communication, ideally C1: able to conduct meetings, interviews and sensitive HR conversations with colleagues across countries.
