The hotel aims to create memorable shared experiences and a relaxing environment for every family member.Role Description The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading and organizing all housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the resort. This full-time, on-site role based in Alsópáhok includes managing housekeeping staff, scheduling shifts, monitoring work quality, and coordinating with other departments such as front office and maintenance. Day-to-day tasks involve overseeing guest room and public area cleaning, managing laundry processes, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and ensuring adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards. The Housekeeping Manager will handle training and performance feedback, assist with hiring new team members, and address guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping. The role also includes implementing efficient procedures and supporting the hotel’s family-focused service standards.QualificationsStrong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, scheduling, and performance management.Managing and integrating Hungarian and foreign subordinates, fostering a strong team spiritExperience with Laundry operations, including handling linens, coordinating cleaning cycles, and maintaining quality standards.Proven Customer Service and Communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with colleagues.Experience in Hiring, onboarding, and training housekeeping staff. Previous housekeeping or hospitality management experience, preferably in hotels or resorts.Knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Basic computer skills for managing schedules, reports, and inventory systems.Good physical fitness for moving around the 10-hectare siteKnowledge of foreign languages: English and/or German
