Junior Finance Analyst
Scale Suite · Philippines
Tailor my CV for this job — freeWork Australian business hours, roughly 7:00am to 3:30pm Manila time, fully remote. No night shift. Ever. You run finance operations for growing Australian businesses, starting on one account: owning their customer invoicing end to end, managing the systems it runs through, chasing what is owed and keeping their payables clean. Real responsibility from week one, a finance analyst beside you, and a proper grounding in how a finance function actually works.About Scale SuiteScale Suite is a Sydney-based company on a mission to build the full-stack finance function for growing Australian businesses: daily finance operations, reporting and analysis, and CFO-level strategy, delivered as one embedded team. We are not a BPO. Every team member gets a Claude Pro subscription, AI is in daily use, and our client base is growing faster than we can hire, which is exactly why this role exists. The roleYou start on one client, a construction and equipment hire group, working directly under the analyst who runs the account. You own their invoicing: customer invoices a week built from job information, right first time, across Xero, their hire system and their job costing system. You own the debtors ledger: who owes what, reminders that go out on schedule, escalations before things go stale, and a weekly aged debtors view the client acts on. One major customer runs its own supplier portal, and you manage that end to end, from submission through to confirmed payment. Around that sits the payables side: bills captured and matched to purchase orders, payment runs prepared for approval, and the finance inbox answered.Every step has a documented process, and you will learn the account properly before you run it. The client is moving onto a new job costing system and automating how work flows into the finance function; you will be part of that, understanding how the systems connect, catching what breaks, and making sure the numbers that come out are right. Within a few months you are running the account's operations with light review, and picking up the next client. What you'll doOwn customer invoicing: accurate invoices built from job information, right first time, across Xero and the client's operating systems.Manage the debtors ledger: reminders on schedule, overdue accounts escalated before they go stale, and a weekly aged debtors view the client acts on.Run the major customer's supplier portal end to end, from submission to confirmed payment.Run payables: bills captured and matched to purchase orders, payment runs prepared for approval, suppliers kept straight.Own the finance inbox: queries from the client's team and their customers answered the same day.Understand how the client's systems connect to Xero, catch what breaks when they change, and make sure the numbers coming through are right.Flag anything wrong, duplicated or late to the finance analyst rather than letting it through.Who we're afterA degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.Xero certified, or certified before your start date.
