You’ll be working across packaging coatings, helping troubleshoot product issues, improve existing formulations and bring new product ideas to life.It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in the lab, likes seeing their work make a real difference and wants to keep building their technical expertise along the way.So, what’s the gig?You’ll be right in the thick of the technical action, working alongside the wider ANZ team and collaborating with colleagues across Asia.Investigating customer complaints and getting to the bottom of coating performance issues.Testing and evaluating coatings to help identify practical solutions.Supporting formulation tweaks and product improvements to keep existing products performing at their best.Getting involved in new product development to meet changing customer needs.Preparing technical reports and supporting product shelf-life extensions.Building your knowledge of customer processes, coating requirements and evaluation methods.Keeping the lab, equipment and technical documentation in good shape.In short, you’ll be combining science, problem solving and a healthy dose of curiosity to help deliver better outcomes for customers.What are we looking for?You don’t need to have every answer straight away, but you do need a solid technical foundation, a methodical approach and the confidence to get stuck into a challenge.We’re looking for someone with:A degree or higher qualification, ideally in Chemistry.At least three to five years of relevant laboratory experience.Previous coatings experience would be a big plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly document your findings.Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems.A safety-first mindset and a genuine eye for detail.You’re someone who enjoys understanding how things work, isn't afraid to ask questions and can work collaboratively to turn a technical problem into a practical solution.Why this one?You’ll be joining Sherwin-Williams, a global name in coatings, with the chance to work on existing products while contributing to new developments across the ANZ and Asian markets.There’s plenty of variety, opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge and the chance to work with a team that brings together laboratory, technical service and commercial expertise.Sound like your kind of role?If you’re ready to put your lab experience to work, get involved in product development and solve problems that go beyond the test tube, we’d love to chat.Hit apply and let’s get the conversation started.Email : Mhollow@rarekind.com.auLinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/in/mackenzie-hollow-1b9048269/
