Tailor my CV for this job — freeJob OverviewThe MEPF Engineer will oversee the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the retail and mixed-use development at Rockwell Center Nepo. This role centers on on-site coordination, trade quality control, and leading the Testing and Commissioning (T&C) of MEPF utilities—with specialized focus on central chilled water plant systems, retail tenant integration, and handover compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Commissioning (T&C): Develop, execute, and document T&C plans, inspection checklists, and functional performance tests for all MEPF packages in line with project schedules and Rockwell standards. Central Chiller & HVAC Plant Operations: Supervise the installation, pressure testing, pre-commissioning, water balancing, and functional performance tests of chillers, cooling towers, primary/secondary chilled water pumps, AHUs, and FCUs. Retail & Tenant Coordination: Coordinate with mall retail fit-out teams, tenant contractors, and consultants to verify BTU metering, chilled water stub-outs, electrical panel loads, kitchen exhaust/grease lines, and fire protection drops against base-building capacity.Interface & Integration: Assist with Building Management System (BMS) integration, emergency power changeovers, life safety matrix runs (fire alarm interlocks with smoke management and stair pressurization), and generator load banking.Quality Assurance & Punch Listing: Conduct routine site walkthroughs, raise non-conformance reports (NCRs), manage defect rectification, and oversee the formal closing of commissioning punch lists prior to authority turnover and mall opening. Candidate QualificationsEducation & License: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME); PRC Registered Engineer license required. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of on-site MEPF experience, with proven involvement in commercial mall/retail developments and dedicated testing & commissioning phases. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with water-cooled/air-cooled chiller systems, hydronic balancing, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and central plant controls.
