Operational Excellence Manager (Business Process Improvement)Bukit Batok, Singapore | Permanent, Full-timeABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is an established manufacturer of industrial temperature measurement products (thermocouples and RTDs), operating in Singapore. Design, machining, assembly, calibration and testing are all done in-house, serving industries such as petrochemical, steel, aerospace and semiconductor.ABOUT THE ROLEThis is a newly created role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will own the company's internal improvement agenda: finding where sales, engineering, production and procurement workflows lose time and money, then designing and delivering the fixes end to end.This is not a customer-facing project delivery role. The focus is entirely on improving how the company itself operates. You will join at the same level as the senior managers, with a path to a broader senior leadership position depending on performance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively identify bottlenecks, waste and cost-reduction opportunities across sales, engineering, production and procurement
• Prepare feasibility studies and improvement proposals with clear cost, benefit, timeline and KPI impact
• Own each initiative from concept to implementation, including budget, schedule and vendor management
• Lead process streamlining, Lean, automation, digitalisation and new process introduction
• Drive adoption with department heads and hold stakeholders accountable to agreed outcomes
• Track results against KPIs and report progress to the Managing DirectorMUST HAVE (please apply only if you meet all)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial companies, including 5+ years leading cross-functional improvement at manager level or above
• Proven track record of IN-HOUSE operational improvement (streamlining, cost reduction, Lean, automation), where you identified the issue, proposed the solution and led implementation yourself
• Experience improving workflows across multiple functions, not only a single department
• Working understanding of business metrics (cost, margin, productivity, lead time, KPIs)
• Ability to lead and influence senior, long-tenured department heads
• Eligible to work in Singapore without work pass sponsorshipGOOD TO HAVE
• Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP or PRINCE2
• Background in precision manufacturing, instrumentation, process plant, semiconductor or similar
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements for manufacturing facilities (MOM, SCDF, NEA, PUB)NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF YOUR EXPERIENCE IS MAINLY IN
