Production Operator

JOB PURPOSEThe position will be part of a team, responsible for all operations activities on the process andutility systems and pipeline network to the standards demanded. Follow directions from theProduction Supervisor within a multi-disciplined team providing operations and maintenance forKhor Khwair Gas Plant and Gas distribution facilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdherence to Gas & Oil Processing Facility Operating Principals without compromise.Fulltime involvement in all hands-on field operation of the plant and facilities and report to Central Control Room Operator (CCRO) of any Plant and gas distribution abnormalities.Start & Stop of each equipment according to the instructions from CCRO.Work with maintenance teams & operation teams to ensure the plant and machinery is kept running safely and stable.Direct involvements in the third-party worksite preparation like isolation, de- isolation, depressurize and pressurize of vessels and lines for Permit-to-Work.Compliance with all aspects of HSE requirements and initiatives, and report all Near-miss, incidents and accidents.Ensure all relevant mechanical equipment is fully operational and area is clean in accordance with procedures after the completion of maintenance works.Ensure appropriate risk assessments are carried out for all activities in plant, with particular attention to recognizing the impact of change.Ensure Permit holders are using proper tools and materials at work site and PPE is in place at all times.Liaison with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure all work is coordinated and within production considerations.Stand in coverage for Central Control Room Operator as panel operator (CCRO) as and when requirement comes.Perform gas nomination activities with client and customer in more accurate manner.Carry out emergency response duties where necessary.Perform any related duties as reasonably required by the Company.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Log and Monitor process parameters in plant and distribution RTU’s; take corrective action as per Standard operating Procedure if any of the parameters are outside of normal range.Issue cold, Vehicle Entry permits to Work in Plant and distribution facilities part of Permit to Work SystemSmooth and safe operation of gas plant and gas pipeline network operationCoordinate with maintenance and pipeline operation for safe and smooth business.Adhere and follow PTW procedure and SOP for gas distribution network and plant operations.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:Technical diploma or Degree in Chemical and chemistry10 years relevant experience (especially gas processing and pipeline operation)DCS panel operation and Gas pipeline will be added advantage
