Senior AV Engineer

Pay: €40,000.00 - €50,000.00 per yearJob description:Role overviewAVITUC is seeking a senior field service engineer to take lead when installing adio-visual solutions. They must be highly expeienced with AV, collaboration and network infrastructure. This role is suited to an experienced troubleshooter who can work independently, communicate confidently and improve service reliability across a varied customer estate.Main responsibilities· Install and upgrade Meeting Room Solutions, Sound Systems, Conference AV, Interactive Whiteboards, Projectors and more.· Diagnose and resolve escalated AV, unified communications, Wi Fi, switching and connectivity incidents.· Plan and deliver corrective works, equipment replacements, upgrades and preventative maintenance.· Coordinate with customer IT teams, manufacturers, distributors and internal project staff.· When required produce clear service reports, root cause summaries and recommendations.· Support technical standards, knowledge sharing and development of junior engineers.· Complete sign off sheets, take photos of work and ensure jobs are finished to the highest standard.· Engage with Operations Manager and MD in weekly and bi-weekly meetings.· Take ownership of issues and work to get jobs finished with health and safety in mind at all times.Requirements· 3+ years experience being a lead technicain on AV installations· Strong field service experience across commercial AV, IT infrastructure or unified communications.· Confident knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, Wi Fi and network troubleshooting.· Experience diagnosing meeting room, audio, video, control and collaboration platform faults.· Experience installing projectors on walls and ceilings· Ability to manage priorities, customer expectations and technical escalation independently.· A valid driving licence, willingness to travel across Ireland.Useful additional experience· Experience with network monitoring, remote management, AV over IP environments.· Experience Installing Logitech, Yealink, BARCO, Qsys, AVER and other conferencing brands.Working arrangements and benefits· Office hourse are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm; based from Tallaght. Engineers are expected to sometimes be on site early and leave site late. Time in lieu is accounted for in such situations.· AVITUC supply and install systems nationwide and some installations will require overnight stays.· Annual leave starts at 20 days, rises by 1 day per completed year to 25 days, and we also take Good Friday off as an additional holiday.
