In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, compliance/operations teams, and AI/ML engineering teams to conceptualize, design, and implement autonomous and multi-agent AI solutions. You will analyze complex banking workflows, define agentic capabilities (goal-oriented planning, tool/API execution, retrieval-augmented reasoning), and translate them into robust functional specifications. A background or familiarity with Financial Economic Crime (FEC) processes—such as AML transaction monitoring, KYC onboarding, alert triage, or fraud detection—is a strong advantage.Key Responsibilities1. Agentic Gen AI & AI Solution DesignAnalyze complex, manual, and semi-automated banking workflows to identify high-impact use cases for Agentic AI (e.g., task decomposition, multi-agent collaboration, autonomous reasoning, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop governance).Formulate detailed functional designs for autonomous agents, defining system prompts, goal definitions, reflection/evaluation loops, toolsets/APIs, and guardrails.Collaborate with AI engineers and solution architects on retrieval architectures (RAG), vector databases, LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), and model evaluation benchmarks.Define and monitor metrics for agent accuracy, latency, hallucination reduction, tool-calling success rates, and business ROI.2. Banking Business Analysis & Requirements EngineeringAct as the primary liaison between business units, IT, enterprise risk, and data science teams to elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.Author comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), User Stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum environments.Map and optimize end-to-end business process flows (As-Is vs. To-Be) incorporating automated agent actions and user validation touchpoints.Ensure all AI solutions comply with banking governance, explainability, auditability, data privacy (GDPR/PII), and responsible AI guidelines.3.FEC Domain Alignment (Preferred / Plus)Translate regulatory requirements and investigative workflows into AI-assisted or agent-driven alert handling (e.g., adverse media screening, KYC document extraction & verification, suspicious activity narrative generation).Define boundary conditions and validation rules for regulatory compliance in automated and semi-automated alert handling.4. Testing, Validation & ImplementationDesign and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), scenario-based test suites, and prompt/agent evaluation matrices.Support pilot rollouts, monitor real-world agent interactions, and gather stakeholder feedback for prompt refinement and continuous model improvement.Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 7–10 years of total experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record delivering technology and digital transformation projects in the Banking / Financial Services industry (Mandatory).Gen AI & Agentic AI Expertise:Demonstrated understanding of Generative AI concepts: Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), fine-tuning vs. prompt-based adaptation.Practical exposure to Agentic AI architectures: multi-agent orchestration, autonomous decision-making, tool-calling/function calling, memory management, and feedback loops.Core Business Analysis Skills:Proficiency in business process mapping (BPMN), gap analysis, data mapping, and API integration specifications.Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Jira, Confluence, Scrum/Kanban).Solid understanding of data analysis, SQL querying, and relational databases.Banking Domain (Mandatory):Strong foundation in core banking processes, corporate/retail banking operations, payments, risk, or regulatory reporting.Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills:FEC Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Financial Economic Crime disciplines such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD), Sanctions Screening, or Transaction Monitoring.Framework Awareness: Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex) and model safety frameworks.Certifications: CBAP / CCBA, Agile certifications (PSPO/CSPO), or certifications in Generative AI / Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP AI).
