Senior Engineer / Project Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in all onsite technical, engineering matters and authority submissionsPrepare submission of shop drawing, materials, method of statement, monthly progress claims and project management reportsReview C&S drawings & specifications in conjunction with authority & contract compliances to raise, manage, and close up RFI (Request for Information) / RFA (Request for Approval) / CVI (Confirmation of Verbal Instruction)Participate & review coordination of C&S matters with other disciplines such as architectural & M&E in conjunction with authority and specification compliances to ensure construction drawings, shopdrawings, fabrication drawings, and BIM Model are aligned without discrepanciesLead in site coordination and execution relating to the construction projectPlanning of micro scheduling with other trades & disciplines against master programmeUpdate structural / architectural / M&E progress with scheduling toolsSupervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance to company’s operating procedures, quality standards and contractual specificationsEnsure supervisors & foremen meets clients’ regulatory work requirementsEnsure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklistResponsible for all inspection activities being carried outEnsure environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all times

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Building and Construction AuthorityAt least 5 years’ experience in building engineering projects and structural worksCandidate with more experience will be considered for a senior roleExperience with Precast / Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) / Mass Engineered Timber (MET) projects will have an added advantageCompleted Quality Mark (QM) project and a registered CoreTrade Foremen or Supervisor will have an added advantageProficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIMOrganised, meticulous with positive work attitudeAble to work independently and a team playerExcellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitudeGood analytical, supervision and communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environmentMindset to work in a digital environmentInformation provided in response to this job advertisement will be treated in strict confidence and be used for recruitment purpose only.
